She said, “Rani has a real knack for writing. Keep an eye on that.” We had recently moved to Orlando, after my parents divorce, and hearing something so encouraging like that - it made my year.

The daughter of 2 world travelers, travel was inevitable for Rani. Her first excursion to Africa and Europe came during a business trip with her father to Dakar, Senegal and Paris in 2003. Shortly thereafter, Rani’s love of travel intensified. In 2007, she cruised from Barcelona, Spain, to Malta and Italy, with stops in Naples, Amalfi Coast, Rome, Florence and then to France, with stops in Monte Carlo and Nice. In 2016, she returned to Rome, where she immersed herself in the city by staying in an Airbnb and taking a cooking class. Rani Robinson in MontanaRani has also rode horseback in Jamaica and in Big Sky Country – Montana – where she stayed at a working ranch. It was one of the best experiences of her life.

What’s next on Rani’s Bucket List? Traveling to Rwanda; staying at &Beyond Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp in Botswana for an unprecedented experience of viewing wild game on the African plains; and something a little more domestic – camping in the Pacific Northwest with her family.

Why Blog? Rani’s passion for writing came so naturally that in everything she did, she wanted to write about it and share it.

It came to the point where I was sharing so much on Instagram and Facebook that I felt it was turning into a blog. Times where I wanted to share more details and link to my blog for more… I couldn’t because there wasn’t a blog. It was then that I realized I needed an official blog to share my adventures.

With Triplicity by Craft, Rani doesn’t claim to be an expert in either field, more of a passionate connoisseur. She looks forward to sharing her passions with you and vice versa. The ‘Craft’ within ‘Triplicity by Craft’ comes with a strong heritage from which Rani pulls her strength. Her great-great-great-grandparents Ellen and William Craft escaped from slavery in Macon, GA in 1848. They ran 1,000 Miles for Freedom, all the way to England.

My mother, Julia-Ellen Craft Davis, has become the family historian. She speaks on the Ellen and William Craft story so well that she’s been a speaker at many events and even guest on Travel Channel’s ‘Mysteries at the Hotel’, which featured the Craft’s story. Rani kidsAs a wife, mother of 3 and director of 3, life is indeed busy. Rani believes in living in the moment – that life is happening right now, not when it’s convenient. The more she can travel, take pictures and eat exceptionally well, with or without her family, to her – that’s living the best life.
